This blog is titled as it is due to fact I live in Ajijic Mexico at Lake Chapala.
I have a view of the lake from about 4 blocks away and 100 feet up. The weather here is supposed to be the second best climate in the world after Kenya. Today is Oct 24 and it's sunny and in the low 70's.

ReplyDeleteGo for it "Denn", throw up some photos and write sump'n good about Lakeside! Everyone likes photos of kids, babies, dogs, mountains, flowers and fresh vegetables at the market or even growing in a field.
ReplyDeleteMight be a good beginning to state the main purpose of your new blog such as general interests, specific interests, hobbies and anything BUT politics! Just call it a "Mexico Bloggers Mission Statement".
How is your weather down there today, I heard the hurricane did a little bit of damage? Are there still peacocks on the grounds of a restaurant in the middle of town, which one? Is the long-bearded old American still buying his drinks for his burro out on the Ajijic pier? How old is he anyway? Hint- He is not as old as he looks! How about fish tacos, do you know the best place in town to find them? Is the local bus system a good way to get around town? Where is the best place to get on the Internet? Are the Tall Boys still playing anywhere in town? Any less desirable places to stay away from? How does a newbie sign up at LCS? What is LCS anyway? Are there really 10 women to every man in Ajijic?
Someone we both know has been successful with a "mostly photos" blog, but when she does write on her blog it can be deeply meaningful, very poignant and is stated in only few words! Pssst! Don't tell her but I still read every post of her blog! She knows the blogging secret of always telling the truth! People know when it is not the truth.
Photos from areas other than Ajijic will get you out and about plus help folks to see what else of interest is within a days journey of Lakeside.
